It is a great cafe. Somehow it is so relaxing inside. You just want to stay there longer and longer, even though it is not especially beautiful or chick. I had only two desserts. Both were very very good. And the service was great too.

Nice cafe. A little noisy but lovely view on the shrine outside.

We found this cafe while exploring Kagurazaka during the 化け猫パレード. Akagi Cafe is a lovely cafe next to the 赤城神社. We had to wait for around 10 minutes, and then we were finally led to our table. The overall vibe is extremely nice, especially at sunset. We wanted to have a light snack so we checked the cake options but, unfortunately, there were only three options and one of them, the cheesecake, wasn't available at the moment. As you can see we went for モンブラン, which was actually filled with ice cream. Unexpected. Overall very nice place but I would add more cake options.

Very nice and cozy coffee next to the shrine: delicious menu ( served with a salad!). I had a rice curry with scallops and veggies and it was really good. I also appreciated the service: although the waitress didn’t speak English, she did her best to please me. Don’t hesitate if you feel hungry or just for a “sweet pause”

Awesome place in the premises of a Shinto shrine. Light lunch just for about 1000 yen ! I came here to eat alone during lunch time and enjoyed it.

Nice cozy cafe inside of Akagi Shrine. I had the pasta carbonara and black coffee and they were great. The pasta was very creamy and tasty, and was a pretty large portion size. There is no English menu (as far as I know) so if you can’t read Japanese, get your translate app ready. But the hostess was very friendly, and handled the other foreigners that came in pretty well. If you’re in the area give this place a try. They also accept credit card payment.
